The comforter looks alright, although it isn't quite what we expected. The patterns on it are made of some velvety material that is glued onto the comforter, rather than being an integrated, sowed-in pattern. I can live with that. The real problem is that this thing tears at the drop of a hat. In around 2 months of use, the comforter has had 3 large (4 inches+) tears appear in different places along the stitching. We've sewn the first two up, but at this rate we're about to give up. We have a 2 year old child who climbs up in bed with us, and that is what I suspect is causing the tears, so maybe this comforter would be alright if you don't have kids who climb into bed with you occasionally. Overall, quite disappointed with the make of this set.
